3 Tigers players will be appearing in this weeks derby match between Nottingham and Doncaster. Ryan Bower has been named in the Nottingham pack, replacing Michael Holford who is playing for Tigers this weekend, with Joe Cain has been named on the bench, the Academy graduate would make his league debut should he get on the field two weeks after making his professional rugby debut away to Saracens in the LV Cup.
Andy Symons has been selected by the visitors, the Doncaster Knights, replacing another former Tiger in Will Simpson.
There will be another 10 players with Leicester connections in the match day squads. Matt Parr, Joe Duffy, Dan Montague, Alex Shaw and Brent Wilson have all spent time at Welford Road whilst in the Doncaster ranks Dante Mama was with us last season and Jethro Rawling is a product of the academy. Completing the ten is Nottingham's three reserve backs (Finlay Barnham, Rory Lynn and Joe Cobden) all of whom were in the academy previously.
